About the Program
Mission Viejo baseball is a consistently competitive program in the CIF Southern Section, regularly contending for league titles and reaching the CIF-SS playoffs. The Diablos field varsity, JV, and freshman squads and play traditional county rivals including Capistrano Valley, Dana Hills, and Aliso Niguel.
Recent Season
2025-26 (Spring): 20-9 overall, 9-3 in league (1st place). Reached the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs; lost 1-4 to Bishop Alemany (May 14, 2026).
Notable Achievements
2026 league champions (1st place, 9-3). Ranked #10 in CIF-SS Division III and #46 in the Southern Section overall (May 2026).
