About the Program
Mission Viejo swimming is among the most storied high school aquatics programs in California, competing in the CIF Southern Section. The program's legacy is tied to the Mission Viejo Nadadores club tradition and Olympic-caliber alumni (Brian Goodell, Jesse Vassallo, Dara Torres), and the boys' team continues to swim a competitive league and invitational slate, feeding into the well-known Diablo Aquatics program.
Notable Achievements
Long championship tradition program-wide; multiple public-school CIF titles in the late 1970s–1980s; Olympic and national-team alumni.
