About the Program
Mission Viejo boys' volleyball is a varsity spring-season program competing in the CIF Southern Section. The Diablos qualified for the 2026 CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs, winning a first-round match before finishing the season ranked among the top teams in Division III. The team plays a competitive South Orange County slate with rivalries against Trabuco Hills, Tesoro, and Capistrano Valley.
Recent Season
2025-26: 24-13 overall, 1-7 in league (5th). CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs — beat Paloma Valley 3-0 (Apr 29, 2026), lost to Foothill 0-3 (May 1, 2026).
Notable Achievements
2026 CIF-SS Division 3 playoff qualifier (Round 1 win). End-of-season rankings: #12 CIF-SS Division III, #37 CIF-SS overall, #78 California, #229 national (June 2026).
