About the Program
Competitive Cheer is the competition arm of the Mission Viejo Pep Squad program, performing routines in the CIF/USA-style competitive cheer season in addition to sideline and rally duties. It runs within the school's year-round Pep Squad structure (four teams, ~65 total members) and shares coaching staff with the broader spirit program. Tryouts are held each May. Coaching staff: Natalie Hammon (Varsity Cheer), Heather Neville (Varsity Song), Amanda Connolly (JV Cheer), Cali BenJoseph (JV Song), Sarah Burke (Frosh Cheer).
