Terms of Service

The public pages of the Services are open to anyone interested in Mission Viejo High School athletics. Certain features — such as the staff portal, the parent/student portal, rosters, and payments — require sign-in and are limited to people the Athletic Department has authorized:

• Staff access is provisioned by the Athletic Department and limited to approved school and district accounts.
• Student & parent access is limited to verified school accounts and authorized roster contacts.

The Services are intended for the high-school community and are not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or the school.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Sign-in is handled through your Google school or district account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your authorization. We may suspend or revoke access that is no longer authorized by the school or that violates these Terms.

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Access accounts, rosters, or data you are not authorized to view.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their underlying systems.
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Use the Services to violate any applicable law or school policy.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute athlete or roster information except as the school permits.

Some features let you make payments (for example, program fees or donations). Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we never collect or store full card numbers. By submitting a payment, you authorize the charge shown at checkout.

Fees, eligibility, and any refunds are administered by the Athletic Department. Refund requests and questions about a specific charge should be directed to the Athletic Department using the contact information below.

The Services, including their text, graphics, logos, and the Diablo marks, are owned by Mission Viejo High School, Mission Athletics, or their licensors and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not use the Diablo name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.

Where the Services let authorized users submit information (such as roster or program details), those users are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what they submit.

The Services rely on third-party providers, including Google Firebase (sign-in, database, storage, and hosting) and Stripe (payments). Your use of those features is also subject to the providers’ own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to keep schedules, rosters, and other information accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely current. Athletic schedules and program details may change.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mission Athletics and Mission Viejo High School will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable school district procedures and California law.
